Overview:

The King Charles Spaniel is an ideal family pet that is easy to train and quite intelligent. They do better when kept in good condition. This Spaniel is a perfect choice for people who do not have much space in their home.

Character:

These dogs like to be with the family and to receive lots of attention. They are playful, intelligent, cheerful, are also very adaptable. They rarely bark

Temperament:

The dogs of this breed are almost exclusively sociable animals which usually get on with other dogs and household pets. Children which approach calmly will not haves any problems.

 

Coat:

The coat consists of lightly waved, long, soft hair. The colours are black and tan, ruby, and Blenheim (chestnut marking on a pearl whites ground) There is also a three-colour coat (black and white with reddish brown markings).

 

Care:

Take care of the folds of the face from time to time with a special lotion for this purpose and brush the coat well twice each week, with particular attention to the hair on chest, behind the ears, and between the legs. Remove any dirt or loose hairs from the ear passages.

 

Training:

Training passage off virtually without difficulty because these dogs are intelligent enough to quickly grasp what is expected of them.
