66-72cm for dogs and 61-68cm for bitches

Temperament:

It is necessary when young to introduce this breed to all situations when young and also to different kinds of animals and people. If well trained, it is possible for a Sloughi to live with one or more cats.

Coat:

The Sloughi has a soft, short-haired coat, usually seen in various shades of sandy-colouring or a roan, without a darker mask.

Care:

They require little grooming. An occasional brushing is adequate. Keep the claws trimmed and also check the teeth for tartar.

Training:

This independent-minded dog is not easy to train, but that does not mean it cannot be taught anything. A handler with sufficient insight into the dog’s character and lots of patience can teach the Sloughi much, creating a bond of mutual respect between them.
