Overview:

The Appenzell Mountain dog is a good cattle-protector, watchdog, tracker and family pet. They like to be out of doors. They are touch, sober and intelligent. They like to bark also. It is also known as Appenzeller Sennenhund.

Care:

The fine of the Appenzell Mountain Dog required little attention. Remove loose and dead hairs from time with a rubber brush.

The Appenzell Mountain Dog responds best to an equable manner of training that is consistent in approach. Try to ensure that it make acquaintance as positively as possible with all kinds of situations, people and other animals.
