Lhasa Apso the perfect Valentine’s Day gift for your girl friend

Sometime in 2014, I got a call from a young man desperate to get a Lhasa Apso. He got my number online from our website fairvet.com.  This guy called me as if everything depended on the dog. I didn’t understand why the guy was calling me minute by minute to ensure that the puppy was ready. I totally didn’t link the whole thing to Valentine’s Day or such. The puppy was delayed and we had to wait until about 7pm to receive the puppy for him.

He eventually came to the clinic to pick the puppy after we had conducted a full medical check on the dog. Before he arrived he asked that we should administer all that is required to the puppy and prepare the pet card for the puppy.

On arrival he saw the dog and fell in love with it. I took the puppy close to him and he was avoiding the puppy but still saying how beautiful it looked. It was strange to me that he was avoiding the puppy cos the puppy was not dirty or aggressive. On a second thought I decided to ask him why he was avoiding the puppy and quickly said that he was not a dog person. You can tell what was going on in my mind: “Then why are you buying the puppy?”

He quickly told us that the puppy is for a lady, his fiancé that loves dogs and have always wished to have one so he wanted to surprise her with the puppy. That day was the night before Valentine’s Day so I quickly connected the dots. I have seen that puppy grown into adult and the lady later changed from referring to the guy as her friend to her husband – very interesting.

Tomorrow is Valentine’s Day again and my phone has been buzzing since morning from guys looking for Lhasa Apso with desperation. In fact, I made a mistake by having a Lhasa Apso puppy on my WhatsApp display picture. It made matters worse.

Lhasa Apso dogs are very lovely dogs with “baby” temperament that can charm any person with their gorgeous flowing hairs and a beautiful “smile” when panting or breathing from their mouth which is very typical with dogs. In the case of Lhasa Apso they look very pretty with that tongue sticking out with the eyes almost covered with hairs.

I have registered many of this breed that were gifts from “boyfriends” and somehow I think it has a way of bonding the partners. I guess it adds to their conversation when he calls to check on her and also asks after the little dog where the lady may have some nice comments or complains about the dog thereby prolonging the conversation and maybe lead to a return call to know how things has ironed out.

Has your lady been wishing to own a Lhasa Apso or a pet dog. Why not surprise her this Valentine’s Day with this gorgeous looking dog and you may end up capturing her heart forever like the guy in the story above. Good luck and Happy Valentine’s Day to you.
